Functionele kunstwerken, zo kunnen de ontwerpen van Christian Lopez Swafford en Lauren Larson a.k.a. Material Lust worden omschreven. Geïnspireerd door alchemie, symboliek en theater, creëert Material Lust een nieuwe collectie genaamd: Geometry Is God. De serie is gebaseerd op eeuwenoude geometrie in een modern jasje met behoud van de primaire vormen.
De collectie Geometry is God bestaat uit lichtobjecten die een eye-catcher zijn in je huis! De serie bestaat uit diverse lampen. In deze blogpost deel ik mijn favorieten: vloer- en tafellamp genaamd ‘Crepuscule’ (lijkt op een cycloop) en tafel- en wandlamp ‘Khnum Sconce’, die iets weg heeft van een uil. Beide uitgevoerd in messing; satijn en matzwart. Laat je inspireren door deze designers.. ehhh kunstenaars!

Functional sculptures, is the right way to describe the designs by Christian Lopez Swafford and Lauren Larson a.k.a. Material Lust. Inspired by alchemy, symbolism and theatrical art, Material Lust designed their newest collection called; Geometry Is God. This serie is based on ancient geometry, without losing the potency of their primary aesthetic.
Geometry Is God are true lighting objects, which will most def be an eye-catcher for each home! There are several objects, but in this post I share my favorites: Crepuscule table and floor lamp (looks like a cyclope) and Khnum, a table and wall lamp, which looks a lot like an owl. Both made of brass. Don’t you just love how these, almost fictional designs, look so damn good!
