Dit contrastrijke industriële ‘chique’ appartement in Mexico Stad combineert diverse uitersten tot een mooi geheel. Het kleurenpalet is minimalistisch met levendige gele eetkamerstoelen. De gitzwarte module zorgt voor een split woning, beneden kastruimte en een ergonomische keuken en boven ruimte voor een minimalistische slaapkamer en thuiskantoor. De vloer is warm gehouden en gelakt waardoor licht wordt weerkaatst door de woning.
Qua decoratie is het simpel. Hier en daar kleurrijke moderne kunstwerken waardoor het strakke patroon wordt onderbroken. Mijn persoonlijke favorieten: de iconische Barcelona Chairs, de bakstenen muur bij het bureau boven en de zwarte module. Jup ik zou er best een paar dagen willen verblijven!

Don’t you just love this industrial chic apartment in Mexico City? It combines different opposites to create a whole. Exposed brick versus painted bricks, warm flooring against white cold walls, minimalistic furniture on a patterned rug and a minmal color palette of black and whites versus vivid popping yellow seaters.
I really like the split level which feels like a loft because of the airy areas. Living below, sleeping and working above with simplistic room dividers. I won’t mind staying here for a couple of days while exploring Mexico!
